Ima martial artist 28 Feb 2007 07:57:04 pm |

| YAY! Finaly, after many a .. um.. time span, I have finally started a martial art. As some of you would know, I had Jutusu, Jiu jitsu, ju jitsu, jui jutsu or however the hell you spell it, in my sight. Well, tonight I am going to pick up my clothes and such and officially start it. I would invite any one else who would like to come along with me. Its not a very strength orientated art, its more about dodging and using your opponent against themselves. Its something I really want to get into and hopeful I can do this for a long time. |

Spot the shitty law 15 Feb 2007 07:57:03 pm |

Well, my post below states that Ive been in a confusing situation. I spent a whole day doing research on this. 3 calls to vicroads resulted in bullshit. Not only did I have to wait up to half an hour to talk to the person at the end, they had NO idea what they were talking about. Two of them even just read out a passage that I had read off their web site. And none of them could answer my specific question. I also sent a message to AriveAlive.com, the site that is suppose to be organising these laws and a message to vicroads. These were sent out a week ago. No response. In the end, I ended up calling my local cop shop and they directed me to their transport division. I called them up and the lady on the phone said that she wouldnt be able to answer my question, but, if I was to call back in 3 hours or so someone would be there to answer my question.
Ok. I call back 3 hours later and there is a different guy on the phone. I ask my question. Half way through asking it he says "sorry, I cant answer anything related to this because we havnt even been handed out the legislation yet." "When will you get it?" "We wont get it untill right before the law comes into effect."
I have a HUGE law here. A VERY VERY BIG MOTHER OF A LAW! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS! I am very... very... very angry. This is a very serious law here. And the decisions that thousands and thousands of people make will be effected by this. But no one knows what decisions they are allowed to make. Will all the rich kids parents have to take their big expensive cars from them? Will thousands of poor student P platers have to purchase a new car? If I was to spend 10,000 on my engine now will I have to wait another 1-5 years before I could drive it? I dont swear much, but fuck. This is fucking stupid. |

Cars, joy and pain 12 Feb 2007 07:57:02 pm |

Well, I love my car. I love cars in general. I love taking an old car and turning it into a riot. As I am doing with my N13 Pulsar GX hatch '90. It is a gorgeous car and I love it. So what do you do with something you love? You sick sick pervert. Get off of my site. You invest in. Ive spent a further $3000 or so on my car since I bought it. Now, new laws are coming in as of July this year that will not enable me to drive a high powered vehicle and/or turbo/supercharger unless it was purchase/installed prior to this law coming in. Well.. I really really wanted to take my time with this. I wanted to individually inspect each part of my engine and my options. But now the new law isnt giving me the time to do so. So here I am, I am faced with two options. New engine with a turbo, or my current engine with a turbo. Either way, I am going to have to spend $10,000 dollars in the next 4 or so months. And I am not happy. I am not happy that I have to spend it all at once. I am not happy that I dont have the time to consider my options. I am not happy that the new laws are ridiculous. If I do not make up my mind about this by July, I will not be able to make my car powerfull untill I turn 26. Not for another 6 years. And that is bullshit. From this day forward, I am disgrunted towards anyone who had a say in making these laws. This is bullshit.
I had other priorities for my car, like painting it and custom bod works, but now, I have to put this in. The new laws states that anyone under 26 cant drive high powered cars or cars with turbo/superchargers. Unless bought before July. So, heres what is going to happen. Between July 2007 and September 2007, we are going to have a 4000% increase in fatalities on the road. Every one prior to July has gone and installed a turbo/super charger or bought a powerful car. For the next year there will be 3000% increase in deaths slowly declining to just a 100% increase. For the next 5 years there will be a general 100% increase compared to the previous 6 years. The amount of deaths this law has caused will not decrease untill after the first 6 years. But the amount of deaths during those 6 years will not be made up for until a further 30 years has passed. At this time I dont think turbos and supers will be an issue. |
