Man, for 3 days now I have been working with this chat software. Awsome stuff, I was so exited when I found it. It was EXACTLY what I wanted. It was real time chat software that didnt have any live or direct feeds/methods to that of IRC or anything else. Everything was conducted on my site instead of having to rely on external parties. So, 3 days now. And Ive finaly managed to integrate the chat system into the forum. Without realising it, I just created a portal. Heh. My own portal. Which Im going to start using as well. Either way, this has been very educational for me. Learned much about ajax and php and how the 2 work together. But the most important part, A CHAT ROOM IS UP!
So why am I a dumbass? For the last 3 days, Ive been so frustrated with why much of my code wont work. So why didnt it work? There are sample templates that came with the code package. Thems and such. Theyre all empty except for a style sheet. So here I was, trying to change things acording to these themes, but with no progress. Brrrrrr. |

| You may have noticed a smal little "mini" link next to chat. Thats the mini chat. You have to be logged into the forum to use it. But its cool. You can use it while posting and stuff. There are a couple little bugs with it at the moment, trying to fix it. |
