So much crap going on. Too tired to bother with anything. Still no car.
But one thing that has interested me, is how stupid our current election has been. And how long it has taken to count the votes. And how close it is. Everything just reeks of uselessness. But it's still interesting. |

Last night, while I lay awake on my bed thinking of things to help make me sleep and take my mind off all the annoying painful things my body does to me, I realised something.
I was thinking twin turbos on a ca18 and imagining how using two turbos could be best tuned to make the car more efficient. And then it occurred to me. Something really simple. So simple that any other car person already would have known this, but I didn't some how. A 4 stroke engine, has 4 cycles. A 4 cylinder engine, has each cycle going on at any given time. So there is constantly at least one piston making power in the engine.
I remember reading up on some sort of 3 cylinder piece of shit that came out last year. And I realised that this car couldn't have all cycles going at once. So clearly, it's a piece of shit for road use. And with this in mind, I could clearly see how low displacement high number of cylinder engines were more efficient. I've always known this but never really gave thought as to why.
And the roof of my mouth is swollen and killing me. |

Recently in a chat room someone was talking about history. Just to stir things up a little I said "History is for people who have no ambition for the future". I said this off the top of my head without really actually thinking. But then as I shifted to another window to do some work, I realised that this is actually quite true. We spend so much time on a past, that is often so violent and misdirected, that we spend very little time trying to improve the future.
I also hated history in school. To this day I believe it was the worst subject. Even the small amount of medieval history, that did actual interest me, was some what under underhandedly boring. This could have been the teachers fault, or the fact that I didnt like school in general though. But now I know, it's because deep down, I really truelly honestly know, that history as a subject in school, is useless. |

Today I was going through some of the science journals I used to go through. I've been too busy and too tired to really look at any recently. Over the last few months there have been a number of DIFFERENT articles stating that what we know about our evolution and what species of pre humans we come from, has had to be rewritten or re discussed. Finding new species in humans in places all over the place keeps changing what we know. How is it that people can believe in one thing, only to completely change their belief when they are shown something that proves them wrong. Now, this isn't just one person. This is an entire society. People follow these people and listen to these people and accept everything they have to say. My classic example is the chocolate topic. For ages "scientists" and "research" have told us that chocolate is bad for us, then good for us, then bad for us, and so on and so on. And people just adjust to suit the trend at the time.
Now, this is what I was thinking about God in regards to this. The way he works, never changes. The outcomes, never change. The bible never changes. You find God, you know that same thing for the rest of your life.
If you find science, you just find a bunch of nerds making huge assumptions. |

| I've added simple advertising to a few of the pages and to the comics. I have not added any to the forums because I HATE advertising in forums. I always have, and I always will. I don't expect to earn anything really from this. In all honesty, I'm only following this idea for curiosities sake. Also I've been having some serious money issues due to things that piss me off, so I guess this just came to mind. |

| I've been thinking. This site has been here for years. I have a tonne of projects littered all over the site that constantly get attention from various places. Now that we have started up the new PROPER comic, Glory to Chair, link to the right, then maybe I should start looking into advertising. At the moment, I really havn't looked. I thought I might just try Google first. See what they have to give me and if its easy to use and so on. Who knows. I might actually make money. REAL money. |
