You define the max speed

Holding back traffic
Some people will say (mostly middle aged divorced single mothers), that you should only worry about the cars in front of you so you dont hit them and let the people behind you worry about you instead. After all, if you hit the back of someone, legally it is your fault. Of course, the people who say these things live a life of pure ignorance. You define the max speed, people behind you cannot go faster YOU.
But then some people, like my mother (who fits into above ignorance category), will say, "I'm in no hurry to die." This is true. But the people BEHIND you might be. Or, in a hurry to go somewhere else. Husband whos wife is in labour in back seat, office worker who is late for work, police occifer rushing to a scene, fire truck to a fire, some guy who needs to get home quickly so he can use the toilet, someone who is trying to get somewhere on time like an airport to catch a plane. Ignorant selfish people dont think about these things. Because they are ignorant and selfish. Duh.
