Stopping for Trams

I recently Submited this complaint to our public transport opperator here in Melbourne:

"I spend on average 1.5 hours a day in traffic with trams. This isn't a lot, but considering I've been doing this for almost 4 years I think its sufficient. I have this one complaint that has been building up in my mind over these years and it is this.

Trams need to use their indicators when letting passages out and they need to stop opening doors at the last minute without any indication to drivers about their actions. More so, near the tram depot on mt Alexander road. Trams are constantly stopped there with the intention to turn into the depot, but there is also a stop there. I've seen people (and myself a couple times) slow down for the tram, realising there is no indication that the tram wants to let people on/off, then speed up to go past it, only to have the tram open its doors just as the car passes and the tram operator dinging away because the car went past. Not just at this location, but at many others as well.

All tram operators have to do, is indicate before letting passages on/off and I will feel better about being on the road with them. Until then, I eventually expect to witness someone being bulldozed over by a car, while getting off a tram. If I witness this and notice that the tram was at fault, I will gladly take the drivers side.

Regards,
Aaron"

I was quite tired when I wrote this and I feel I forgot to mention a couple things. Something along the lines of, YOUR TRAM DRIVERS ARE FUCKING MORONS! Im in a tram lane, to turn right into a street, there is traffic EVERYWHERE, to my side too, a tram cames up behind me and start dinging me. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT ME TO DO DIPSHIT? DRIVE INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC TO GET OUT OF THE WAY FOR YOU? I recently took the side of trams, because in all honesty, most of the time people are morons, but Im also going to take the side of the drivers. Not because I am one, but because I was recently caught out as well in a tram incident and it reminded me of all the times Ive noticed trams failing to do something useful.

Tram drivers, think theyre top shit. I will imagine, that most of them do. Some of them are probably depressed at their life situation so they dont really care. I would imagine some are even like, TRAM! TRAM! DING DING! IM THE DRIVER NOW! All while smoking weed and playing chicken with cars across intersections and so on. But a lot of non make beleive tram drivers think they own the road. Now, I say a lot, but I really meant 50/50. Half of my tram experiences have been quite good, I let the tram past, they let me past, I slow down for them, they slow down for me and so on. The other half... Ok, maybe 60/40. The other 40% has been shit. My Pulsar(s) (God bless The Bolt - RIPieces), is a small car. If Im behind a tram, I cant see to either side of it. I most certainly cant see whats in front of it. If Im to the side of one, I cant see whats in front of it. They are big things. If I cant see whats going on around it, I am left with the only option to rely on the tram driver. If the tram driver fails to tell me what he is doing, then I have no chance and then I have to clean body parts off of my car. Well, I probably wont, but some police occifer will have to.

I cant remember where I was going with this. And honestly, I dont care. I pay a tone of tax for having a car park in the city. Tax that is suppose to be spent on improving the public transport so we dont have to drive to the city. Well, I mean, I could catch public transport. But spending 5 hours every day in transift is NOT an option for me. I really forgot the point to this.
